“Neurofeedback… has been found to produce symptom relief and changes in brain activity that endure over time… The brain is taught to produce more adaptive activation rather than to depend on external stimuli in order to correct dysfunction.”
Sharon Niv, from “Clinical efficacy and potential mechanics of Neurofeedback,” in Personality and Individual Differences, 54 (6). April 2013: 676-86.

Focus, Balance, Coordinate, Adapt, Express, Resolve, Remember, Relax

These Benefits Last

Increase your skills in problem solving, recognition, motor coordination, short term memory, and artistic expression. Develop positive habits, strengthen relationships, enlarge your focus, heighten your awareness, and open your creative mind.

Neurofeedback is used in olympic training for the sports of skiing, skating, riflery, archery, hockey, soccer, golf and pro football. It is a most effective treatment for addiction, post traumatic stress, and attention disorders. It is used in medical and music schools, by NASA and the military. Used in conjunction with regression therapy neurofeedback opens a connection to your unconscious, stimulates creative memory, and accelerates spiritual mastery.

Neurofeedback uses sensors, amplifiers, and a computer to teach you how to control your brain’s electrical activity. The computer analyzes and presents to you the functioning of your brain through visual patterns, vibration, and sound.

You learn to control your brainwaves by interacting with these sounds and images much as you might learn to move more gracefully by watching yourself in a mirror. You learn to connect these patterns with your deeper physical and emotional patterns

The easily recorded electrical signals of our brains determine the rhythms at which we interact with the world around us and within us. Excessively slow rhythms give us forms of stagnancy and indigestion. Excessively fast rhythms lead to anxiety and inner conflict. Neurofeedback deprograms our patterns, enabling us to “be” in other ways, to develop the natural insight latent within us.

What to Expect

Neurofeedback Changes Lives

In the first session we explore the training process, establish goals, and choose a strategy. Training can last from 20 to 45 minutes. Changes are notable after the first session but won’t endure until you develop new skills and habits, which generally takes 10 sessions.

Brainwave control runs through your fingers like water. You lack control because you lack focus as our brains are constantly shifting, stuttering, and changing state. You learn to control your brain state indirectly, through practice and awareness, not through direct management. Neurofeedback training requires relaxed attention and deep focus.

After your first training you may sleep and dream more deeply. Sessions can be tiring and result in subtle changes over the next 12 hours. Get rest and remain well hydrated. Some trainings may generate transient stress, euphoria, or strong emotions.

Being Prepared

Neurofeedback is easy

Brainwave training is not an objective process but rather depends on you being involved. It is a physical skill. To succeed you need to pace yourself, be comfortable, and be focused but not thoughtful. Aim for a clear, attentive, and receptive state of mind before training. Get adequate rest before and after training, avoid junk food, sugar, drugs, or alcohol.
