Lincoln Stoller is a clinical counselor, psychotherapist, and neuropsychologist who has authored books on sleep, dreams, hypnosis, education, and architecture.

Born in 1956 with older siblings, Lincoln’s influences were civil rights, ascendent America, the Vietnam war, counter culture, and public education. His secular home was infused with art and world culture. Everyone was doing something but nobody had any addictions, as far as he could see.

In a family of loners, Lincoln took up mountaineering, traveled widely, met a few inspiring people, and planned his own expeditions while still in high school. He got a PhD in quantum physics, and then formed a software company focusing on office automation.

His interest in music and culture led him to throat singing in Mongolia, fishing villages in the Carribean, and shamanism and Ayahuasca in South and Central America. Incorporating computers and brain science, Lincoln mentored in and started a business offering brain biofeedback. Still exploring, Lincoln trained in hypnotherapy, Past Life Regression, ceremonial psychedelics, and psychotherapy.

He is certified and practices as a clinical counselor and neurofeedback therapist working to integrate his clients’ reasons, emotions, and nervous systems—individually and socially. He draws on his history as a mountaineer, physicist, astronomer, anthropologist, psychonaut, software developer, aviator, scuba diver, entrepreneur, and parent. He makes time to work in physics and computational neurology.

He would like to make time to pursue his hobby of solo mountain walking but he rarely has the time or courage so, instead, he sleeps and dreams.

Lincoln blogs weekly, his CV is online, and he lives in British Columbia. He can be reached at mindstrengthbalance.com.
