A topic dear to the heart of our passive aggressive culture!
Aggression is an emotional means of control. It’s easier to control people emotionally than intellectually. Intellectual control is open to argument; emotional control perverts trust and breeds fear and obedience. It’s no accident we’re vulnerable.
Passive aggression is a tool that generates bad behavior and is an unrecognized call for help from those who employ it. In order to help you must be recognize it, protect yourself, and rise above it. To do this you must call it out, but this means you must break rank from the passive aggressive culture.
