The Opposite of Love…
March 6 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm| $10
I’d like to further explore love by focusing on what it means for our health. I believe there is a confusion between “like” and “love” in that liking is circumstantial and intentional, while love is neither. Love is a state of mind. This makes a great deal of difference in terms of understanding one’s self-attitude, the feeling one has for one’s parents, and our relationship to our partners. An intense like is not love, and an intense dislike is not the opposite of love. There is no opposite to love, only disconnection.
