We’re taught to bring others to our point of view by argument, but the best convincers are not logical, they’re emotional. Conviction is emotional, a feeling that comes from the bottom up.

I’d like to explore how our own certitude affects our ability to convince and assure others, to convince someone to act or agree with us. Much evidence points to this skill being an emotional, not intellectual.
